Walking
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path runs outside the front door, so you can head North or South to explore and also there is a bus link which runs along the coast to ferry you back or take you, so you may walk back.
Cycling
Bicycles can be hired from the Carn Ingli Center in town. You can then journey through the sprawling countryside and mountains of Pembrokeshire and experience some breathtaking views.
Beaches
In Newport, we are lucky to have a large beach right on our doorstep, the estuary and sea are ideal for all types of activities such as swimming, boating and fishing. There are a number of beautiful spots in the immediate area too such as Ceibwr, Mwnt and Whitesands.
Golf
Newport has an eighteen-hole links golf course with spectacular views of the bay, mountain and surrounding countryside as well as a comfortable club house.
Boat Club
Newport Boat Club is 75 yds from the property and welcomes non-members during the summer and also serves snacks.
Pubs and Eateries
You are spoilt for choice with four public houses which also serve food as well as four restaurants and a wine bar.
